  15. For some reason this week we have received a number of requests for
  16. Kermit software for the WICAT computer, which as I dimly recall, dates
  17. from the early 1980s, and runs an operating system called WMCS (WICAT
  18. Multiuser Control System).  We don't have a Kermit program for it, but it
  19. has always been rather common for people to write Kermit programs for
  20. "little" systems like this but never tell us about them -- and then years
  21. later somebody calls and asks for tech support, and that's how we find
  22. out about it :-)

  24. Anyway -- Does anybody out there remember the WICAT?  Do you know of
  25. a Kermit program for it?  If not, do you know what language it was most
  26. commonly programmed in?  (Maybe one of the existing Kermit programs could
  27. be easily converted.)
